Plot summary
In Detroit, Aziah "Zola" King waits tables and dances part-time at a club. When she serves Stefani, an outgoing fellow stripper, the two hit it off, and Stefani invites her to dance at her club that night. The next day Stefani proposes a road trip: Tampa, Florida, where she says a strip club pays enough for them to make real money. Zola sets out with Stefani, Stefani's roommate X and Stefani's boyfriend Derrek. In Tampa the three leave Derrek at a motel and perform at the club, earning far less than Stefani promised. Zola then finds that Stefani and X have put photos of the two of them in an online ad offering sex, and when she tries to leave, X threatens her.
