Yuku et la fleur de l’Himalaya (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

Yuku is a young mouse who shares a cellar in a castle with her family. Her grandmother Mamy keeps the household's stories going, passing on the family's values through folk tales she tells the young ones. A fight with a cat leaves the old mouse hurt and confined to her bed, and she tells her children she must soon go away with a small blind mole, down into tunnels beneath the earth. Leafing through one of Mamy's storybooks, Yuku reads about a flower that grows in the Himalayas and is said to give eternal light. She leaves home to search for it.
