Plot summary
Soumitro Roy, known as Sammy, is pushed by two friends into spending a night with a call-girl named Mallika at her place of work in Mumbai. The two end up enjoying an outing together through the night. Five years on, Mallika has left the brothel and goes by Devanshi, running a home for under-privileged girls in Kota. She misses her train and boards the next one to Delhi, where she finds herself in the same first-class coupe as Sammy, who is also traveling to New Delhi. As the journey goes on, the two recall the night they spent together. Sammy tells her he is married to Akshara, a Delhi resident who wants to be a Municipal Corporator.
