Plot summary
Seven segments, all set in Paris, most of them about adultery. Paulette, a young widow, follows her husband's coffin and is propositioned by Jean, the family doctor. Maria Teresa comes home from Italy a day early and finds Giorgio, her husband, in bed with her closest friend. Linda, an interpreter, brings two admirers to her apartment while her boyfriend is away. Edith tries to match the bold heroines written by Rik, her novelist husband, and he calls in Dr. Xavier, a psychiatrist. Eve, a socialite, learns that her rival Mme Lisière has a copy of the gown meant to be hers alone for the reopening gala at the Palais Garnier. Marie and Fred, lovers, arrange to die together in a hotel room. On the Champs-Élysées, Jeanne and Claudie spot a man trailing them.

- Natalie Wood was the first choice for the lead role in Woman Times Seven, the first of an intended three films made by Joseph E. Levine and Vittorio De Sica with producer Arthur Cohn after their successes with Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and Marriage Italian Style. Wood declined the role.
