Plot summary
On a quiet road near the border, István and his handicapped friend Zoli run an isolated filling station. Laci, the son István has not seen for thirty years, appears there after a spell in prison, hoping his father will help him get on his feet. Zoli welcomes the company; István does not want strangers around. The following day a van bound for Switzerland pulls in with four prostitutes and the two men escorting them, and when the vehicle will not start the group settles in for the night. Laci is drawn to Marcsi, one of the women, who is unsure she wants to keep working as she does.
