Warriors of the Apocalypse (1985) on Netflix

Plot summary

A hundred and fifty years have passed since the third world war, and nuclear conflict has left most of Earth a scorched desert. Trapper, an adventurer, leads one of the smaller bands of survivors, people who are barely hanging on and who must fight rival gangs for the few resources left. When he learns of a place where food is said to be plentiful, he takes his tribe in search of the Mountain of Life, an area that the holocaust is said to have spared, whose inhabitants have reached eternal life. Their route leads into a forest, and among the peoples they meet are Giant Bill and his followers, pygmy tribes credited with mystic healing powers, outlaw bands and a tribe of Amazon women who live alongside the pygmies. The tribes they pass differ widely in technology.
