Plot summary
Tim Donaghy worked as a referee in the NBA and placed bets on games he officiated. In the summer of 2007, word broke that an official was under investigation over wagers on his own games, and the league, the FBI and sports fans were thrown into a crisis. The inquiry ran from small-time bookies in the Philadelphia suburbs to the pockets of New York crime families and the international gambling underworld. Donaghy served time for the betting and now revisits the case, along with other men accused in it. Their accounts of what happened do not all line up with one another.
