Plot summary
A documentary looks at H. H. Holmes and the Chicago building known as the Murder Castle. The building stood in downtown Chicago and was put up specifically to kill; hidden passageways, trap doors, chutes, false doors and spy holes were built into it. Victims were killed in many ways: some were beaten to death, some strangled or gassed, and others tortured on racks. It is even claimed that Britain's most notorious killer, Jack the Ripper, was Holmes himself.
