Plot summary
An intruder gets into the Los Angeles home of Michael and Karen Carr one night. Karen is held at knifepoint for a short time before the burglar escapes. Police come to the house, and one officer, Pete Davis, takes an extra interest in their case. He works through the department's paperwork and helps the couple put in a security system. Grateful for the help, Michael and Karen become friendly with Pete. Michael jokes that he would like to get even with the intruder.
