Plot summary
The United States government runs a top secret program on a remote island, where a laboratory produces genetically modified cybernetic supersoldiers. An earthquake strikes, the test subjects get out of containment, and they begin killing the people around them. A Marine unit is sent to the island to bring Professor Mueller out safely, and the troops find themselves the prey instead. The Marines also disagree among themselves about how to fight back: some want to reach an armory for heavier weapons, others argue for finding the server bunker that can shut the supersoldiers down. Pfc. Kate Riley and Joe Ellison are among the Marines trying to survive while the supersoldiers hunt them.
