Plot summary
Rodney Blackburn, the husband of Fela Blackburn, was an unarmed Black man who was shot. Marley Wells, a lawyer and Fela's closest friend, takes on the case and sets out to establish what happened to him. Her boyfriend is a former police officer who now works as a private investigator, and he joins her inquiry. The search carries Marley into a tangle of lies and deception.
