Plot summary
Jay is a subway detective whose days are still given over to thoughts of a love he has lost. Kang Ki-taek once led a secret squad inside the government's intelligence service, and the agency removed him after he killed a prominent figure. When the new mayor comes to the subway for a public visit, Kang Ki-taek seizes a train and launches a campaign of terror, holding its passengers. Kay, a pickpocket, works out what is happening and gets word to Jay. Both she and Jay are aboard the car Kang Ki-taek has taken, and the detective moves to take on the hijacker.
