Plot summary
In Manchuria under Japanese occupation, Park Chang-yi, a bandit and hired killer, is paid to take a treasure map carried by a Japanese official on a train. The hold-up leaves Japanese and Manchurian guards and civilians dead. Yoon Tae-goo, a thief, seizes the map first and escapes in the confusion. Park Do-won, an eagle-eyed bounty hunter, rides after the reward on Chang-yi and follows the map because it leads to Chang-yi and Tae-goo. Tae-goo is convinced the map shows where the Qing dynasty buried gold and riches. Manchurian bandits want the map sold at the Ghost Market, and the Imperial Japanese Army races to reclaim it.
