Plot summary

Dr. Edmund Wellington heads a weapons manufacturer worth billions and wants to change how war is fought, so he builds the Neurolator, a laser in space that takes over a person's mind and turns them into a killer. The Pentagon rejects the device, and Wellington uses it instead to hold the world hostage. The only group with any chance against him is a secret special forces team called Total Force, which is ordered to find and destroy both the scientist and his laboratory. Anyone the Neurolator has taken over explodes at the press of a button once that person has served the device's purpose.
