Dean Haglund

Dean Haglund is a Canadian actor and stand-up comedian who is best known for playing Richard Ringo Langly, a member of The Lone Gunmen on The X-Files. Born in Oakbank, Manitoba, he performed with the Vancouver TheatreSports League, whose shows drew on audience suggestions, and he improvised his own comedy-club sets. He also created an onstage format in which audience members helped put together a new X-Files episode. He returned as Langly in the spin-off series The Lone Gunmen, which ran for thirteen episodes in 2001, and he voiced Sid in Tom Sawyer (2000). His other screen work includes a role in the comedy Radio Free Steve and an appearance in the 2007 documentary-style production From Here to Andromeda. He played a restaurant owner in an episode of Bones, served as host of Ghost Adventures Live on the Travel Channel, and hosts the Chillpak Hollywood Hour podcast.
