Plot summary

In June 2023, the Titan submersible imploded during a dive to the Titanic wreck. The documentary traces the events leading up to that disaster. It draws on whistleblower testimony, audio recordings, and early footage of OceanGate. David Lochridge, who led marine operations and became the main whistleblower, speaks about his time at the company. Emily Hammermeister, a former intern, also gives an interview. Sydney Nargeolet, whose father Paul-Henry Nargeolet was aboard the Titan, provides testimony as a family member of a victim. Investigative journalist Mark Harris, who reported on the OceanGate disaster for Wired, appears as well. The film examines the company's operations and its early days.
