Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Tiku Weds Sheru was first planned in 2016 as Divine Lovers, with Irrfan Khan and Kangana Ranaut as leads, but it stalled because director Sai Kabir fell severely ill for three to four years; when he returned to the script, Irrfan Khan had died in April 2020.
- Kangana Ranaut said she overlooked the 27-year age gap between the film's two stars because the pair seemed well-suited to the storyline, while Avneet Kaur said she did not see the age gap as a problem since the film required it.
