Plot summary
Ved Vardhan Sahni first meets stories through a roadside storyteller in Shimla, a man whose tales keep swapping their characters around. As an adult he travels to Corsica, where he meets Tara. The two feel an immediate connection and agree on a playful pact: neither will reveal who they really are, and they will not fall in love. Together they wander the island, slipping into movie roles, Ved as Don and Tara as Mona Darling. Their ease with each other grows, and Tara comes to see that her feelings have gone past the terms of their bargain. She decides to leave Corsica.

- Anushka Sharma was the original choice for the lead actress of Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha, a part that later went to Deepika Padukone.
