Plot summary
Santa Claus is unhappy because children no longer believe in him or in the spirit of giving, so he chooses to stay home on Christmas Eve instead of delivering toys. Mrs. Claus and the helper-elves Jingle and Jangle disagree with that decision. The elves travel to the United States to gather evidence that children still believe and still deserve presents. In South Town, where the yearly Winter Festival is under way, their search runs into trouble. Snow Miser and Heat Miser, a jealous and competitive pair of brothers, are another obstacle: they will not agree to let a Christmas snow fall on the southern town.
