The Wailing (2016) on Netflix

Plot summary

A Japanese man moves into a secluded house near Gokseong, a village in the mountains of South Korea. An infection then spreads among the residents: a rash appears first, followed by violent outbursts, then a stupor. Police officer Jong-goo takes on the case. A young woman, Moo-myeong, tells him the stranger is responsible and then disappears. A hunter reports that he saw the man feeding on a deer carcass, his eyes glowing red. Jong-goo takes a fellow officer and a Japanese-speaking deacon, Yang I-sam, to search the stranger's house while he is away. Inside they find photographs of the afflicted and dead villagers along with their belongings. The other officer later hands Jong-goo a shoe that belongs to his daughter, Hyo-jin, and soon the girl shows the same symptoms as the others.
