Plot summary
Matthias Le Goff is a champion swimmer whose career is coming to an end. While being interviewed on television, he makes a homophobic remark, and the national swim team responds by sending him to coach the Shiny Shrimps. That team plays water polo at an amateur level and its players are gay; their goal is a place at the Gay Games in Croatia, a competition that draws international LGBT athletes. Matthias is given three months with them. The swimmer and the Shrimps come from worlds that appear to have nothing in common, and the arrangement forces both sides to find a way to work together before the tournament.
