Plot summary
Amziah King keeps bees and plays bluegrass in rural Oklahoma, where he runs the premier honey-making operation in town. OSBI Agent Sunderland asks him to identify a load of honey that was stolen. A former employee brings his friend Colmar to help, and a honey extractor tears off Colmar's scalp. Amziah and his right-hand man rush the scalp and Colmar's lucky hat to the hospital, where Amziah gets medication for his heart condition. Kateri, the foster daughter he raised, comes back into his life after losing her mother. He offers her work looking after his honeybee farm, and the two spend one chaotic day clearing a swarm of bees out of an elementary school.
