Plot summary
Josh is a musician who does not have much money. On eBay he finds a vintage recliner, a replica of the puffy chair his father sat in years ago, and he wins the auction. The plan is to give the chair to his dad as a birthday present. Josh lives in New York, and the chair waits in Atlanta, so the present means a long drive across several states to collect it. He asks Emily, his girlfriend, to keep him company on the road. His brother Rhett, a hippie, joins them along the way, and the errand grows into a trip for three.
