Plot summary
Will Browning needs better grades, or his father will send him to a strict summer camp. To earn a top grade, Will buys a science kit and plans a project around it, not knowing the kit carries a cloning formula. He accidentally makes a duplicate of himself, names him Twoie, and Twoie goes to school as Will. Twoie is curious and bold with people, and students and teachers take to him. He agrees to go to a dance with Heather, the girl Will likes, and he gets the family's unsociable grandfather Mordechai to open up. Will, meanwhile, is content at home with nothing to do.
