Plot summary
End Zone 2, released in 1970, introduced audiences to Smash-Mouth, a football-playing cannibal. Two men share a claim on the character: Mikey Smash, whose name appears in the credits, and William Mouth, whose does not. Half a century later the pair remain rivals, and the role is only big enough for one of them. Both turn up at the Mad Monster Party horror convention, where they are told the weekend doubles as a tryout for a new End Zone film, a reboot that restarts the series an hour into the original and disregards what followed. Traveling with them is their assistant AJ, whose father Randall Browning played Smash-Mouth's sidekick AJ in 1970.
