Plot summary

Jibran and Leilani have been together four years, and they argue constantly about many topics. Driving to a dinner party, the two agree to break up. Distracted, Jibran drives through a red light and hits a cyclist, who refuses help and rides off. A man with a mustache seizes their car, says he is a police officer and that the cyclist is a criminal, chases him down and runs him over. Police sirens send him fleeing, and Jibran and Leilani drive away. Jibran wants to turn themselves in. Leilani says their unbelievable story and racial profiling would get them blamed for the crime. The dead cyclist's phone shows plans for a bar meeting with a woman named Edie, and Leilani thinks Edie can tell them who he was.
