Plot summary

Travel has reached a tipping point, and the part played by the modern tourist is under scrutiny. Visitors harm the destinations that drew them there, in many cases without meaning to. Overtourism has widened the damage to the environment, to wildlife and to vulnerable communities across the world. The people who speak in the film work in the shadow of a vast global industry, and they describe the conditions they face and the results they witness. Their accounts were gathered in more than fifteen countries, among them Caribbean beaches and remote villages in Kenya.
