Plot summary
Work at Studio Ghibli is the subject: Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, and Toshio Suzuki are preparing two animated releases at the same time, The Wind Rises and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. Footage covers both productions, including the choice of Hideaki Anno as the voice of Jiro Horikoshi and the storyboards Miyazaki sketches, inks, and paints. Miyazaki speaks about Zero planes and about the nuclear disaster at Fukushima Daiichi, and about his memories of his father. Tensions with some of the other staff, Isao Takahata among them, are shown.
