Plot summary
Maya O'Malley is a subversive pop star whose outspoken views on religion and corporate greed cost him his deal with Aspect Records in the fall of 2012. Dropped by the label, he falls into a cycle of fear and excess. His road toward redemption runs through the friends, band mates, music critics and siblings around him, and it also takes him to India on a spiritual pilgrimage aimed at resolving a troubled past. The film is a musical rockumentary, and the songs Maya created run beneath it.
