Plot summary
In September 1998, a girl jumps from the rooftop of the Fujō Building, a derelict building due for demolition. She appears to have been a corpse before she fell. The case is dismissed, but more girls die the same way, and none leaves a suicide note. A rumor spreads that a ghost lives on the roof. Shiki Ryogi and Mikiya Kokutou work for Garan no Dou, a detective agency that Touko Aozaki heads and that handles paranormal occurrences. The agency opens its own investigation.
