Plot summary

Bombs are going off in Seattle. The devices are ingenious and complex, and apartment blocks and office complexes come down under them. Civilians are among the dead, and bomb disposal teams lose members as well. John Pierce, a former bomb squad operator, is called in to help. The squad's disposal work draws on virtual reality simulations and computer assisted methods.
