Plot summary

One morning Marina finds that her face is not the face she had the day before, and she does not recognize herself in it. Her mother runs into her in the street and says hello the way she would to any stranger. Marina's problem becomes her identity. She asks whether she is defined by the DNA her parents gave her or by her ID card, and whether a family portrait, biometrics or the love of the people around her can identify her. Her Colombian boyfriend is among the people close to her. She also wonders whether she is prettier now.
