Plot summary
Rap is what Tato, an orphan in Medellín, holds on to. Cleaning and social control groups spread fear through his neighborhood, and he and his friends Pitu and La Crespa answer with hip hop, organizing street jam battles as a way out of crime and death. After a clash with gang members from the barrio, he has to run, leaving behind the things that define him. The only place left is the countryside, with Octavio, a flower grower who is the grandfather he has never met, and who wants to pass on the rural traditions he holds. Two generations and two ways of life meet there, and Tato searches for an identity of his own as he moves toward adulthood.
