Plot summary
Orphans Si Ming and Ah Hsiang grow up in a monastery, where the monks teach them the variations of the Buddhist Fist. Si Ming takes the path of the monks and stays; Ah Hsiang chooses the outside world and moves to the city, where he works in a barber shop. Fighting with a customer costs him that job, so he and a friend go home to visit his godfather, a police officer who cannot be found. When the friends begin asking about the disappearance, assassins come after Ah Hsiang. Si Ming and Ah Hsiang reunite to search for the missing godfather.
