Plot summary
Gina McVey works as a radiologist in London and is dating Stefan Chambers. To mark her father John's birthday, she and Stefan join her brother Daniel and his girlfriend Kate for a surprise gathering at John's home, where a mirror is knocked over and shatters. The next day at the hospital her assistant Anthony insists he watched her leave the building, though she had not gone anywhere. On her drive home she sees a woman who shares her face at the wheel of an identical car and trails her to a flat, where a photograph of herself and John waits. Racing away, she collides head-on with another car and regains consciousness in a hospital with no recollection of the crash.
