Plot summary

Jaakko has multiple sclerosis. The illness has taken his sight and left him paralyzed from the chest down, so he gets around in a wheelchair. Sirpa has cancer, and she and Jaakko talk on the phone every day, though the two of them have never met face to face. When Jaakko hears that her health is getting worse, he decides to travel to another city to meet her in person. The trip is not something he can manage on his own, so he must depend on five strangers to get from one place to the next, and along the way he runs into various obstacles.
