Plot summary
Matty has made his name as a popular film star and has had enough of Hollywood life, so he moves to Miami, where he asks his French girlfriend Annie to marry him. She is not ready, and the pregnancy she ended, an abortion Matty had first asked for himself, leaves him depressed. His friend Mickey takes him out for a wild night, and at a nightclub the two meet a young waitress who is also named Annie. Matty passes out before the night is over, and part of that evening stays missing from his memory.
