The Bicycle (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mark and Antonia are in a long-distance relationship and meet in Paris for a vacation that is a final attempt to save it. Antonia comes from Canada and knows no German; Mark, who lives in Hamburg, knows no English, so talking is difficult from the start. Mark is an amateur filmmaker and has brought his Bolex camera to film the summer in Paris. The vacation begins in a relaxed way, with the warm city and their days spent outdoors. Then Antonia gives Mark a bicycle. He hates riding a bike, she loves it, and the mood between them drops at once. Old patterns return, and the vacation becomes a series of arguments.
