Plot summary

Interviews with more than thirty people make the case that the United States government has known about non-human intelligence since 1947 and has kept it from the public. A former Defense Department employee who worked on an advanced aerospace threat program narrates, saying he found a legacy program that investigated and concealed the evidence for over eighty years. An engineer and parapsychologist who consulted for that program makes similar claims. A former head of a government task force on unidentified aerial phenomena describes a race among nations to reverse engineer technology that is not human in origin, comparing its scale to the wartime effort to build nuclear weapons.
