Plot summary
Marian Forbes is the secretary of the businessman Harry Chapman, and she is also his lover; much of the company's financial success came from her work. Chapman has fallen in love with another woman, Francis, and has decided to marry her. Jealous and greedy, Marian recruits a man to kill him. She trains this accomplice in Chapman's voice, his appearance and his habits, so that he can pass for the businessman and reach the money in the company's accounts. The double is to keep up the part just long enough for the money to be collected. The two of them plan to take $600,000. The impersonation begins in Mexico, where the double meets Corey Scott.
