The drug charge that puts Ilya Goryunov behind bars is false, and it costs him seven years in prison. He comes out at twenty-seven into a life where the things he missed are gone. He holds Pyotr Khazin, the policeman who framed him, responsible for those years, and when the two meet face to face Ilya takes Pyotr's smartphone. On it are Pyotr's photographs and clips, his conversations with his parents and with his girlfriend Nina, and messages from colleagues that read like threats.
