Plot summary
Jane is nursing British troops and writes to Tarzan, asking him to find the plants that yield a serum able to save service members' lives. He crosses the Sahara with Boy and Cheetah, since that is the shortest way to where the plants grow. On the journey a rambunctious horse and a traveling magician, Connie Bryce, join them. Tarzan means to leave Connie at her next stop, a small Arab kingdom. Nazi agents have slipped into that kingdom, and the travelers run afoul of them.
