Suzi Q (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

A documentary from Australia about Suzi Quatro, the American rock singer, songwriter and bass player. Her arrival in the mainstream in 1973 helped change what women were allowed to do in rock 'n' roll. By that point she had spent years playing professionally, and her records have gone on to sell more than 50 million copies around the world. She has written books and acted as well. Fifty-five years after she started playing professionally she is still recording and still touring. The film follows her back to her hometown, Detroit, and gathers interviews with other rock musicians and with members of her own musical family.
