Plot summary
A psychiatrist has spent forty years treating patients, among them creative artists and business leaders and many who doubted therapy could help. His approach is visual: he teaches a set of exercises he calls The Tools. One of his patients is an actor whose anxiety attacks, tied to promoting his films, have turned a job he wanted into something he dreads. The two meet for a conversation that reverses their usual roles, with the psychiatrist speaking about his own life and his early experiences. They discuss their mental health openly, and the session walks through the exercises.
