Plot summary

Spencer Griffith is a shy seventh-grader who likes a schoolmate named Michelle Eberhardt. One night a meteorite comes down in a nearby junkyard, and Spencer sneaks out of the house to see what it is. Inside the meteorite he finds a small rocket holding a Cybersuit, a prototype exoskeleton built in another galaxy with artificial intelligence of its own. He puts it on and melds with it, then needs time to get used to the new speed and strength it gives him. He learns its different functions and calls it Cy. The suit was made as a weapon for a war, launched into space after an attack, and a Broodwarrior from the enemy race has now come to Earth to find it and take it.
