Plot summary
In a distant future, after a nuclear catastrophe, the West Balkans are a lawless wasteland where the bullet is the most valuable currency. A blind fiddler roams the ruins with a song about the Grain People, wheat-growers who live in peace and will not bow to a distant city's rule. When a deranged warlord has a young warrior's family slaughtered, the warrior embarks on a bloody quest for vengeance. He is armed with nothing but a blade and a motorcycle. Radioactive cults and hallucinations lie along his road, and he must navigate them to protect the last remnants of civilization.
