Plot summary
Six months after the Wei army marched into Qin, the king of Qin hears that Li Xin, called Shin, has been found in the lawless lands, where he trained under General Ou Ki to become a 100-Man Commander. A voiceover recounts Shin's success there, where he first backed the weakest tribe. The Zhao army then invades, and its soldiers kill the people of a castle in reprisal for a Qin slaughter of four hundred thousand Zhao sixteen years before. Ying Zheng explains to General Ou Ki his reason for wanting to unify China, and Ou Ki takes the post of commander-in-chief of the Qin army.
