Singularity Principle (2013) on Netflix

Plot summary

Dr. Peter Tanning is being interrogated by Dr. Lawrence Cason, who works for a clandestine black-ops agency. Tanning's mentor, Professor Jack Brenner, has disappeared during an experiment that he was not authorized to conduct, an experiment that joins parallel universes through a passage. Cason demands a detailed account of the work, including how such gateways can be produced and manipulated, and he recalls his own history with Brenner while making his case to Tanning. The agency's aim is for Tanning to continue the research under its direction, taking command of the doorways to other universes and of the people on the far side.
