Plot summary
Four college students come across the body of Pooja Choudhary on a hilltop. Forensic officers recover copper fragments from her wound, and the investigators read the killing as personal, the work of someone who knew her. The team is led by ACP Avinash Verma of the narcotics division; his superiors would rather not have him, but retired Justice Choudhary, Pooja's father, asks for him by name. Pooja's last visit is to the home of her closest friend Kavita, to show her something; the hour is late, so she sleeps there. Kavita is in Pune, but her husband, MLA Ravi Khanna, and the servant Dadu are present. Verma questions Rishabh and Kia, Pooja's family, Ravi and the people he deals with, Kavita, and two other suspects, Sunny and Shrikant.
