Plot summary
Karly Hert is a pharmaceutical sales representative, one of the salespeople who call on doctors to promote a company's drugs. She has done the job for ten years, selling pills legally, and the career has paid off: lots of money, a company car, a fat expense account. Even so, a pit has grown in her stomach, a sense that something behind the scenes at big pharma is not right. The lack of ethics she finds in the industry leaves her disillusioned, and she has tough choices to make. The story is drawn from a decade spent working directly inside the business.
